Calabash Hotel offers a variety of services to its guests, including complimentary
non-motorized water sports, a floodlit tennis court, a snooker and billiards room, large
swimming pool, fitness room, shuffleboard and beach boules. There is a golf course ten minutes
from the hotel and complimentary green fees are available to Calabash guests. Once a week
there is a Managers cocktail party at the pool or beach bar and live music entertainment is
featured most nights of the week. A TV room is equipped with a computer for Internet access.
Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel as well.
Dining at Calabash is an experience unto itself. The Rhodes Restaurant at Calabash is directed
by famed chef Gary Rhodes and the a la carte menu was developed specifically for the hotel by
the chef himself, placing high importance on locally grown seasonal produce, all of which is
supplied by the best sources as approved by Gary. Breakfast is prepared and served on your
patio or balcony and complimentary fresh fruit is offered on the beach in the morning. Lunch
is served a la carte at Jeffersons Beach Bar, followed by afternoon tea in the main
restaurant. Every evening, canapes are served in each guestroom and an exquisite dinner is
served at Rhodes Restaurant.
The hotel has 30 suites, arranged in a horseshoe on 8 acres of tropical gardens. All suites
have air conditioning, ceiling fans, showers, whirlpool baths, hair dryers, CD player, clock
radios, iron & ironing boards, lounge area, patio or balcony, mini bars, wall safes and tea
and coffee making facilities.
